Primeval Poster & Date Switch

I love the fact that there are not one but two killer crocodile movies coming our way next year. I think the Sci Fi Channel probably has a lot to do with that (see I knew their cheap ass movies would do good someday), but perhaps it’s just because the filmmakers who grew up watching movies like Alligator are finally making movies.

Greg (Wolf Creek) McLean’s Rogue is scheduled to be first with a release date of February 2nd. Primeval is the other, and until recently it was scheduled to be released the very next week, but Fangoria got word that the date has been moved to April 13th.

Don’t despair though because Bloody Disgusting got a look at the first poster for the film, which you can see a taste of on your right. You’ll have to click here to see it in full, kiddies. Pretty freaky, eh?

In other release date change news, Fango also got the somewhat disappointing news that The Host has been moved from a January 26th release to March 9th. Not too sure why, but hopefully it’s just so they can get more and more teases out there!
