One Found Trailer

U.S. remakes of Japanese films may not be the popular trend in horror anymore, but that isn’t stopping them from happening. One such title, One Missed Call (review), was handed over to French director Eric Valette (Malefique) and many of us have waited patiently to see what the outcome would be when it hits our shores this January 4th.

Today we’re one step closer to getting our answers, as the first trailer just made it’s way online. Click here to see the One Missed Call trailer and see if Mr. Valette comes anywhere near Takashi Miike’s original. Not being familiar with his previous work, I can’t say what his skills are, but this trailer looks pretty damn good if I do say so myself…

The plot, for those who missed the original, follows a group of friends who are experiencing some odd issues with their cell phones. One by one each of them receive a call that sounds like one of them dying horribly. Not long after, that same person on the other end of the phone mysteriously meets their end. Can the survivors connect the dots fast enough to solve the puzzle that joins their fates?
