Nicholson’s Manor Optioned

The Manor optioned for the big screen!Author Scott Nicholson’s work is getting nabbed for film deals left and right, it seems. His latest novel, They Hunger (review), is in the midst of being adapted both for film and a graphic novel, and now he’s added his 2004 release The Manor (review) to the pile.

Inevitable Film Group, who have plans to develop it for feature release down the line, have optioned the rights to The Manor, which tells of a group of artists who gather in the Appalachian Mountains for an artistic retreat and soon become obsessed with the life of the man who built it, Ephram Korban. Seems he’s trying to push himself back through to our world through any means necessary.

We’ll keep an eye on this one and let you know when more develops; our congrats to Nicholson on the deal! Be sure to visit Scott Nicholson’s official site to keep up on the latest, as well!
