I don't get why one would miss out on the chance to play what could be an iconic character in a new franchise just so one could be in a French comedy. So I guess it's good I'm not Charlotte Gainsbourg, eh?
THR reports that Gainsbourg may leave her role as Kate Connor, wife of John Connor, in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins because the potential actor's strike could cause scheduling conflicts with a French comedy she's signed on for. Man, I'd be ditching that comedy in a second, but then I'm a geek, not an actress.
Bryce Dallas Howard (pictured) is in talks to take Gainsbourg's place should the decision become permanent. Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is rolling in New Mexico as we speak; keep it here for more updates soon!
