New Transsiberian Trailer
Brad Anderson’s next exercise in slow pacing and dramatic tension, Transsiberian (review), will be getting a limited theatrical release here in the states come July 15th.
This morning Yahoo! Movies got their hands on the trailer for said release, which is kind of weird to see on such a huge site like Yahoo!, because Transsiberian really is a small film, despite Ben Kingsley and Woody Harrelson. But I digress...
Harrelson stars alongside Emily Mortimer as a couple taking the infamous titular train ride from Bejing to Moscow. Along the way they cross paths with some other travellers who may or may not be moving drugs, and after an almost-affair, things get very complicated.
Though not his best film to date, Transsiberian is definitely Anderson’s most commercial movie outside of his two romantic comedies, so in that sense it does fit into the mainstream. Enough reading, though; click here to check out the trailer! We’ll let you know when we hear more as to where Transsiberian will be playing!
Talk about your experiences on trains in the Dread Central forums!
