New Terminator Salvation Trailer!

Yeah, yeah, so Terminator Salvation may not be 100% horror, I understand that, but if you can’t find horror elements in a story about robots taking over the world and killing off mankind, you’re missing some integral part of your brain workings.

Which leads me to this: the first full trailer for Terminator Salvation, coming to theaters on May 22nd, 2009! Christian Bale stars as John Connor, all grown up and leading the humans in their revolt against Skynet. Goddamn I hope it’s good...

That's in-FREAKIN-credible! I'm so going to see this now.

I wonder if the giant robot seen at the end will be piloted by a legless Kenneth Branagh.

Sorry, but that trailer was just generic action bullshit, and Bale's little "you tried to kill my mother, you killed my father but not you will not kill me" speech was wincingly lame.

More like TERMINTOR: $ALVATION. McG can go fuck a blowtorch as far as I'm concerned.

"You tried to kill my mother. You killed my father. You will not kill me. Also, I'm Batman."

I'm very impressed with all that I have seen so far, and yes, casting Bale in "T:S" encourages one to take this film more seriously than one might have... However, why the rush to get trailers/footage into the public domain? We still have over 5 months to go until the actual release date, and I already feel we've seen far too much!

I think it looks great personally. I also think Christian Bale was an inspired choice for the adult John Connor. McG might just redeem himself with this one.

I'm not impressed. There wasn't a single shot in this trailer that touched upon the greatness of the six minute future war sequence Cameron created for the beginning of T2.

Yep. It looks far more like RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE.
