It’s not quite as effective as the original poster, I don’t think, but it does get some points for subtle freakiness. STYD got the first look at what will hopefully be the last poster for Bryan Bertino’s The Strangers; if you click on the teaser image, you shall be magically whisked away to see the whole thing.
After many delays The Strangers, which stars Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman as a couple fighting off masked strangers in their vacation home, is finally getting a release on May 30th; now we just have to hope it’s not a letdown like the last few “home invasion” films have been. Keep an eye on the official Strangers site for more!

It's bad, but I've seen so much worse.

"Nah, I think that's just Liv being Liv."
I don't know... I swear it looks like they photoshopped Liv's head on someone else's body. The way her hair falls is weird, it looks as if she's in the middle of shrugging her shoulders, and both her hands are in the same position with the fingers all curled under but for the pointer. She looks like someone just asked her an embarassingly inappropriate question.

"Ok...what the hell is up with that tagline"
It's better than the rejected... "Look out for the guy standing behind you with a bag on his head!"

Could Liv not make the shoot? Is that why they've used a cardboard cutout for this? She looks VERY awkward in that shot.

It's a big wordy for a tagline.
"We want to tell ourselves that there is nothing to fear but fear itself, and sometimes we can be wrong, meaning that there are bad guys waiting in the dark with weapons looking to torture and mutilate you, hey lady look out behind you."

Ok...what the hell is up with that tagline? Is it just me or is that sound like...retarded?
