New Casting for The Eye

Jessica Alba has found herself a co-star for the upcoming remake of the Pang Bros. film The Eye, which as you may recall is under the direction of David Moreau and Xavier Plaud (Ils).
Said lucky, lucky man is Alessandro Nivola (pictured from Jurassic Park III) who Variety reports has been cast opposite Alba meaning, if they’re strictly sticking to the original’s plot, he will be playing an employee of the hospital where Alba’s character gets her eye transplant and, of course, a love interest.
Indie queen Parker Posey has also climbed on board the show, as has Paramount Village in the role of co-financier. The Eye remake has been floating around for about 5 years now so hopefully this new casting means things are finally moving along. Keep it here for the latest!
