Nameless in the UK

If you were smart and held off on the bare bones release of Jaume (Darkness) Balaguero’s masterful adaptation of Ramsey Campbell’s The Nameless, then I’ve got some good news for you. Providing you have region-free capabilities, that is, but what self-respecting horror fans doesn’t these days?

Next Monday, September 11th, sees the UK release of The Nameless, and unlike the lack of respect Miramax gave it here, the UK’s Dogwoof Pictures is at least giving you some meat with the bread in the form of a making-of featurette, a music video, and some trailers. It’ll also come with 5.1 surround sound, of course, which is important in enjoying this slow, creepy film.

Sure, it’s not a lot more, but at least Dogwoof’s got a better idea of what fans want. And they obviously know their horror fans, or they wouldn’t have contacted us, right? Right! Click here to pre-order the Region 2 DVD via Evilshop!
