My Bloody Valentine's 3D Poster!
In a way, I am really looking forward to Patrick Lussier's take on My Bloody Valentine. His Dracula 2000 was loads of cheesy fun, and this time around he has the whole 3D gimmick on his side; there is little that could go wrong here.
Our friends over at UGO got the exclusive first look at My Bloody Valentine's poster and it's ... not what I expected. One part wacky Spy Kids and another part Friday the 13th is the best way to describe what we saw and it really lacks the creepiness found in the poster from Comic-Con; they sure are putting a lot of effort behind that 3D angle. We'll know if this one sinks or swims on January 16th of next year.
"Tom returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine's night massacre that claimed the lives of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, however, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders, and it seems like his old flame (King) is the only one who believes he's innocent."

I this it's cool. It totally captures that retro 50's vibe of how 3D is something to be experienced as a group in a theatre. You guys are just no fun at all!

tedge1979 beat me to it. Looks EXACTLY like something you would see in a theme park. I'm still looking forward to it though. Even if it does stink, I hope it does good in the box office, lord knows we need more 3-D horror movies.
Who knows? If it does great, someone might re-release House of Wax with modern 3-D technology. How bitchin' cool would that be?

I'm still stoked, but the poster makes it looks like a ride at Disneyland. Give me a bloodied mining mask any day.
