Mulroney to Run for Her Life

All right, another movie about organ harvesting! How can we ever get sick of this semi-trend in horror? Maybe the addition of Dermot Mulroney (Zodiac) to the cast of Run for Her Life will help us decide that the trend is officially dead? Man I hope not!
The Hollywood Reporter got word this morning that Mulroney will star in the new organ harvesting thriller Run for Her Life, playing a district attorney whose daughter is stricken by a strange illness and is in need of a lung transplant. After finding out about her low ranking on the donor list, he heads to Mexico to find some lungs on the cheap, but has an ethical dilemma when he faces a choice between saving hundreds of children being killed for their organs or saving his own daughter.
Right away you can tell it’s Hollywood fiction because what district attorney actually has ethics? Icelandic director Baltasar Kormakur (Jar City, A Little Trip to Heaven) will helm Run, which starts shooting in New Mexico in late April. We’ll have more on Run for Her Life as we learn it so stay tuned!
