MS Holds Tight to Bioshock

So a few days back I mentioned that the upcoming Bioshock was supposedly heading to Sony’s new console, the Playstation 3, even though this hadn’t been confirmed. I’m pretty sure I used the word “rumoured” actually, but most people “in the know” seemed pretty sure of it too.
Well, Microsoft today made the big announcement that Bioshock will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 and the PC. That’s bad news — for anyone other than Microsoft shareholders anyway. People are going to have to either pick up a 360 or have a great PC in order to enjoy what is still looking like one of the best upcoming horror games on any system.
There is some good news though! We have a vague “next spring” kind of release and a host of new screenshots that you can check out right here. For anyone that didn’t already read the recent preview I wrote for the game, please feel free to check it out here, and just ignore any “PS3 version is rumoured” type statements.
Go ahead, find another excuse not to upgrade your PC in our forums!
