Mother of Tears U.S. Site Opens
Though early word on the film has been mixed at best, that shouldn’t stop us from getting excited about finally seeing some U.S. love for Dario Argento’s Mother of Tears (review), should it? No freakin’ way!
Just in time for Mother's Day, the U.S. site for Argento’s final Three Mothers film has officially gone online, and there’s quite a bit of cool stuff there including the entire theater listing for its limited run, which stars on June 6th, 2008.
Check out the official Mother of Tears site to begin exploring, and be sure to dig on the trailer for it below!

It’s been a while since anyone’s been talking about Texas Chainsaw Massacre, since the last thing that came our way tended to underwhelm and no plans for anything new have been in place. Then Fangoria talked to Kim Henkel, writer of the Tobe Hooper original, who gave them the word that he’s working on a new Leatherface adventure.

Without the primary colors of Suspiria or the candy-colored hues of Inferno, this just doesn't look like an entry into the Mothers trilogy, which really breaks my heart. I'm a die-hard Argento fan, I own every film he's made (including imports of things not available in the US), and I really don't want to be let down by the final chapter to what is honestly the series that made me fall in love with cinematography. I'll still see it, but I'm really worried it'll be a film too much along the lines of Argeto's latest films. Also, I think casting his daughter yet again wasn't the wisest idea. I like Asia a lot, but I'm tired of seeing her in his films. I am very pleased with the return of Udo Kier, however!
