More Pissy Crocodiles

Territorial Films first release, Black WaterMaybe it’s something in the water these days, but I love the fact that the giant killer crocodile movie is back in vogue again. The latest entry is a film called Black Water, coming our way soon from newly formed UK production house Territorial Film, Variety reports.

The brainchild of producers Paul Cowan (The Crying Game) and Chris Wheeldon, Territorial will focus on producing at least three low-budget pics a year with a strong focus on horror and comedy. Black Water tells of a fishing trip that goes horribly wrong when the boat is attacked by crocodiles in the mangrove swamps of Northern Australia. David Nerlich and Andrew Traucki directed, their first collaboration together (well, that I could find).

Other projects Territorial is working on include a supernatural horror film called Soothsayer and the oddly titled Australian/Hungarian team-up Carmilla: A Monstrous Tale of Lesbian Vampire. Sounds good to me!

More info on Black Water, which is in the post-production stages as you read this, when we find it!
