More Haunted Casting for El Superbeasto

New Huanted World of El Superbeasto photos! After months of seemingly nothing going on, finally we’re getting updates fast and loose from the Haunted World of El Superbeasto people. The animated film from Rob Zombie is due out later this year.

A new blog on the film’s MySpace page announced today that Dee Wallace (The Howling, E.T.) has joined the cartoon’s cast, and irony of ironies, her character changes into a werewolf. Gotta give props for appropriate casting, eh? They also added Harlan Williams' voice (Dumb and Dumber) as Gerard the Exterminator.

For those familiar with the musical comedy stylings of Hard ‘n Phirm, you’ll be happy to know that the duo (Chris Hardwick and Mike Phriman) will be composing the Superbeasto theme song. If you’re not familiar with ‘em, you can get that way by visiting their official site. Then you can tell your friends you heard of 'em before the movie came out and be cool.

Finally, the MySpace page also has a gaggle of new photos just added to its gallery, a slice of which you can see on your right. Check out the Haunted World of El Superbeasto on MySpace to see more!

Hard N Phirm are alright, but El Superbeasto is right up Stephen Lynch's avenue.

Dee Wallace, Sheri Moon, Sid Haig... oh boy, what original casting!

Naw, I kid Rob. I love animation, so I'll keep my skepticism back a little.
