More Details on the Hunt for Scream Queens!

Fame is the name of the game, boys and girls. Well, this one is just for the women out there who want a crack at the big time without all the hard work of having to climb the Hollywood ladder.

As we first told you about here, the folks at VH1 and Lionsgate have teamed up in an effort to find some "Scream Queens", and recently we got some more info about just what they're looking for. The goal is to find "confident, tenacious, uninhibited actresses who are ready for stardom and will stop at nothing to get it. They will compete in an exciting new reality show for an unprecedented prize – a “breakout role,” as the ingénue, in a Lionsgate horror film.

Whether you are an experienced pro, or new to Hollywood…classically trained, or a born performer, this could be your shot at greatness. If you are between the ages of 21-30 and have a competitive spirit and the drive to compete for a once-in-lifetime opportunity, then you may be crowned the next big, “Scream Queen.” (Union and non-union actresses are welcome.)"
