Monster Slayer Trailer!

I’ve been seeing bits and pieces about this flick around for a few months now, but never really looked into it until now. And damn I’m glad I did!

The movie in question is Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer and don’t let he slightly cheesy poster fool you; this look like a slice of cinematic ass-kicking the likes of which we’ve not seen in a long while. The story is about the titular Brooks who, as a kid, watched his family slaughtered by a monster one night in the woods. Now all grown up and filled to the brim with emotional issues, he gets the chance to make things right when monsters re-appear and trap he and his friends in a school one night.

The trailer for Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer just showed itself over on the site for the film’s production company, Brookstreet Pictures, and I recommend you click that link and check it out. Robert Englund, lots of old-school monsters, damsels in distress; what doesn’t this movie have?

No word on how or when the film will be out, but rest assured we’ll be watching Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer a lot closer now so we’ll let you know ASAP!
