Monster Producer Tackles Gacy Memoir
Word came down via THR this morning that Monster producer Clark Peterson is returning to the world of serial killers with Dear Mr. Gacy. The film will be an adaptation of The Last Victim, the memoirs of Jason Moss, who corresponded with serial killer John Wayne Gacy during the last year of the killer’s life and narrowly avoided being killed himself.
William Forsythe will star as Gacy, while The Uninvited lead Jesse Moss will take on the role of Jason Moss. Mirage director Svetozar Ristovski is making his English-language debut with the film, which starts shooting in Vancouver later this month.
It’ll be interesting to see a true-crime movie with such a well-known lead taking on the role of the clown-faced killer; hopefully this will lead to bigger and better things for Forsythe. Peterson is also producing the long discussed remake of Scanners, which currently has David Goyer on board as writer. As long as he doesn’t direct, I’m fine with that!

A lot of crazy stuff can happen down in Mexico; even worse when the undead are involved. IDW Publishing has announced the release of a new 30 Days of Night installment, this time centered in the rough little town of Juarez, Mexico.

Hopefully we'll be getting a good Gacey film, meaning, no overacted and far-fetched from the truth of the killer clown. Though I've heard To Catch A Killer was pretty good.
