Today we were also shown the friendlier Mirrors trailer for those who'd like to watch it at work or maybe even around your kids.

Thank god for DC, because if I wasn't turned on to the coolness of this movie, after seeing a commercial for it, I probably would have lumped it in with the rest of the j-horror Americanized ripoffs.

It's a cool shot and it was a cool sequence in the red band trailer but I kinda worry a bit about the fact that they're so willing to publicize the death of one of the more recognizable actors...

Aja's second unit man has been a guy named Erik Wilson, he does so again in Mirrors. He was the cinematographer for the last two Pumpkinhead movies and I just loved his shot compositions and lighting. Just great work outta this guy. I have no idea how to spot second unit work from the primary though.
