Mego Panel Planned for NYCC

Word came down today that Joe Sena, lord and master of our online storefront of terror, Evilshop, will be participating in a panel at the upcoming New York Comic Con as part of EMCE Toys to discuss their revitalized line of Mego figures, including their badass Night of the Living Dead creations!

Sena will be joined by partner Marty Abrams, Paul “Dr. Mego” Clarke, and Diamond Select’s Chuck Terciera on the panel, conversing about how the influential figures from the 1970’s captured their imaginations and inspired them to bring the line back to life in the 21st Century. So far said revitalization has done pretty well with new “Star Trek”, Planet of the Apes, and of course, Night of the Living Dead figures.

The panel, called "Mego: Past, Present and Future", will be held on Saturday, February 7th at 2:45 PM in Room 1A18. There's a ton of other reasons to hit New York Comic Con this year, not the least of which being to visit the Dread Central booth; check out the con’s official site to see what I mean!
