McGee’s Grimm Invades IDW

IDW announced today that April 2009 will see the first of a five-issue miniseries for American McGee’s Grimm, a comic vision of the game McGee created for Gametap.
The comic will see McGee’s dark dwarf, a sinister character who takes pleasure in causing all manner of chaos, invading stereotypical comic environments and leaving them in ruins. Superhero comics, westerns, romances … in the end Grimm shall taint them all!
”It’s great fun to see the transformative ‘Grimm effect’ applied to narrative universes outside the Brothers Grimm tales,” McGee said in a press release. ”The world needs more of this — exposure to the gritty, sometimes painful truth of the human condition — be it in Red Riding Hood’s well-earned demise, or the reversal of ‘good guys win’ scenarios that we all know to be far from everyday reality.”
