Martyrs DVD Art & Possible Date

Genius Products released the cover art for the hugely controversial and highly acclaimed French film Martyrs today. but the release date seems to be a little bit unclear at this point.
Amazon has it listed for pre-order with a street date of March 24th, 2009, but according to Fangoria we won't be seeing this one come home until April 28th. Hopefully we'll have some official word soon. In the interim, dig on the art below.

I don't really see the Saw similarities. All they did was take the art of the two actresses posing from the original theatrical posters against a different background.
It could have been a lot worse, IMO--I was genuinely worried that it was going to be something gratuitous or exploitive and that I'd be embarrassed to be seen in public with it.

The mix up or two street dates announced might have to do with imports, I read on DVDrama.com that the street date in France is in March.
