Lussier Gives Some MBV 3D Updates
Today is just full of news regarding My Bloody Valentine 3D helmer Patrick Lussier! Not only did we get an update on his upcoming zombie project Condition Dead, but we also heard from Eric over at Bloody Good Horror that in the course of an interview he conducted with Mr. Lussier, several choice bits of info were revealed.
First on the agenda is your pal and mine, the MPAA. "We're about to have a bit of a screening for our delicious friends at the MPAA," laughs Lussier. "We're just hoping we don't follow in the footsteps of the original film. [It} went back 9 or 10 times and is notorious for having (over 10) minutes or something taken out of it." As for when we might expect to see the first MBV 3D trailer, he had this to say, "I suspect there will be one on Saw. The studio will have to answer that for you. I've been hunkered down in my editorial bunker."
Hit up the BGH link for more, including Patrick's comment with regard to a possible sequel to the remake. And look for the full interview in the upcoming Issue 14 of HorrorHound Magazine.
