The blog known as Fear Has No Cure is currently overflowing with content regarding the remake of Colin Eggleston’s thirty year old film, Long Weekend.
The site features a number of behind-the-scenes photos along with an interview with the remake’s producer Nigel Odell. There’s plenty of talk from Nigel about the film itself and what it is like to shoot in Wilsons Promontory, Australia, “The first day we travelled down here, we left Melbourne it was about 35 degrees and it wasn’t much cooler when we got down here and we went straight down to Whiskey Bay on the prom and there were literally millions of flies buzzing around all over the place”
Long Weekend centers around a couple who want to kick start the sloping romance in their relationship. They head off for a weekend together at the beach, but come under the wrath of Mother Nature.
