Living Corpse found at Shoreline

The Living Corpse (click for larger image)Ya see, now this makes me happy. Nevermind film adaptations of Daredevil, Ghost Rider, The Hulk, and X-Men; bring horror comics to the big screen!

That’s just what Shoreline Entertainment has in mind as Variety reports that they have secured the film rights to the adult indie comic The Living Corpse, created by Ken Haeser and Buz Hasson.

Shoreline CEO Morris Ruskin will produce the project as a live-action feature written and helmed by Justin Ritter.

The Living Corpse — initially self-published by Haeser and Hasson — weaves the tale of a zombie who has vague memories of his past life. His mission is to keep the rest of the walking dead in their graves.

Now if only someone would get to work on The Walking Dead (which incidentally is, in my opinion, the best fucking zombie comic ever), I’d be really happy!

Keep it here for more.
