Limited Theatrical Release for Death Note 2!
Viz Pictures dropped a bloody pile of "HOLY DAMN" right in our laps today by announcing that Death Note II: The Last Name (review) is going to get a 300+ theatre screening this October!
On October 15th & 16th, the live-action (and English dubbed) sequel to Death Note will be appearing in 392 theatres at 7:30 PM local time. Tickets for this rare event will go on sale to the general public on September 5th, however, subscribers to the Shonen Jump newsletter will be able to secure seats as early as August 29th! Get over there and sign up!

that's great, it's a really good movie (though I've only seen the sub-title version). Also if you get the chance to check out L: Change The World you should, it's a nice little trip through L's last days.
