Kevin Smith Almost in Horror

It may not be the horror movie he keeps saying he’s going to do next, but according to Production Weekly Kevin Smith is inching closer to our genre with his next gig.
Reports are that Smith will be helming the pilot for a new show that is set to be on the CW called “Reaper”. The show features a 21-year-old slacker who discovers, too late, that his parents sold his soul to the devil when he was a baby and now he has to pay the devil back by tracking down souls escaped from hell.
Sounds a lot like the old show “Brimstone” but with a comedic spin. I’m not sure how Smith came to be involved, as he’s never done television before, but at least we know if nothing else the show will have a damn good pilot. More as we learn it!
Wonder when Kevin will make that horror movie in our forums!
