STYD got word today that Warner Brothers has officially given the thumbs-up on the script for the upcoming film Jonah Hex.
The script created by Crank and Pathology writing/directing team Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor is based upon the DC Comics Western comic book anti-hero who was created by writer John Albano and artist Tony DeZuniga.
""I think it's the best script we've written" Taylor told Shock right before he promised that the tale will be "plenty twisted"!

There's a really great script for Lansdale's MUCHO MOJO by Ted Telly rotting in a drawer at New Line.

Are Lansdale's entries the ones that added supernatural aspects into the stories? If so, then I'm pretty sure they said those were the ones they were going to follow or at least build towards.
Anyway, it'll probably be a good bit before this gets made. They're still in post on "Game", their second film, and after that they are going on to do "Crank II" as soon as Statham is finished with the third Transporter film. So "Jonah Hex" isn't going to be happening until after that at least, meaning they probably won't even start filming it until sometime next year.

Two Gun Mojo FTW!
And why do I have this bad feeling Statham's gonna get cast as Hex?
