Jeffrey Dean Morgan Added to The Resident

It's not a lot of news, but any mention of Jeffrey Dean Morgan is like music to my ears. Most of us know him from his stint as Papa Winchester on "Supernatural", but I have a feeling that once Watchmen opens in March, he's going to be forever remembered as The Comedian.

In any event, today EW reported that he's joining Hilary Swank in Hammer's upcoming The Resident, in which she stars as a single doctor who moves into a Brooklyn loft and soon suspects that she's not alone. Morgan is apparently playing Swank's "deceptively charming landlord that becomes obsessed with her."

Swank is one of the film's executive producers, which hopefully means she'll have a little more say over the quality of the end result than what we got from her last horror project, The Reaping.
