It’s been painful waiting for the occasional scraps of information about Alan Wake that Remedy tosses our way every few months, and I wish I could tell you that the floodgates have finally opened. Well, they haven’t yet so all we have are a few new screenshots to show for ourselves thanks to Computer and Video Games, but hey, I’m not complaining.
These may not be the most impressive screens we’ve seen of Mr. Wake and Bright Falls, where the game takes place, but all the same Alan Wake is still one of the best looking upcoming games on any system.
It’s going to be a while yet before we get our hands on Wake, which is heading to PC and Xbox 360, since as of yet we haven’t even had a rumoured release date. I guess that scrap of info will come at a later time.
You’ll find the screenshots, along with a fairly detailed preview basically summing up everything we’ve already heard about the game, at CVG right here. Of course, if we find out anything new, we’ll be keeping you guys posted as ever.
Wonder if he’ll ever wake up in our forums!
