Igor Coming Home This January
It didn’t do any kind of business to speak of at the box office, so I guess it’s not surprising that MGM isn’t dumping a lot of effort into the DVD release of Igor. MGM announced today that the disc will be out on January 20th and won’t have a helluva lot on it.
Extras on the standard DVD will be a few deleted scenes, bloopers and a featurette called “Be an Igor”. The Blu-ray release, out the same day, will also come with commentary by director Tony Leondis and producer Max Howard, as well as an alternate opening.
Weird. You’d think a movie about an independent-minded lab assistant, a bunny that just won’t die and the voices of John Cusack, John Cleese and Steve Buscemi would’ve been enough to make this one a hit. Just goes to show how fickle even our own fanbase can be!

We’re trying to confirm things as we speak, but there are some rumors flying around right now, starting out at Fangoria, that Universal may be moving the release date for Wolfman from April, 2009, to sometime in the fall.

Don't even plan on renting it. HUGE disappointment. Don't think for a minute that just because it's horror related that you should feel obligated in any way to watch it. If you stick fangs and a cape in a turd, it's still a turd.
Believe me, I really wanted to love it. Maybe the new Monsters VS Robots will sweep me off my feet.

I have no plans in getting this, but its disappointing that something like a commentary would be left out on the traditional release.
