The big winners from this year’s Sitges Film Festival have just been announced, and once again our beloved genre ruled the day.
Rec, the Paco Plaza/Jaume Belaguero team up from Spain, won for Best Director, Best Actress, and the audience choice for Best Motion Picture!
Meanwhile Inside, the first film from Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, too home Best Makeup FX, Best Motion Picture FANTASTIC, Best European Picture and the Citizen Kane award to the new directors. Bustillo and Maury, you may recall (“Hellraiser Remake Talks” – October 2007) are the duo behind the new vision of Hellraiser coming our way soon. Very encouraging!
