Horror Masters Go Comedic for Xbox 360
This is why I love having an Xbox 360 and have yet to see the point in the PS3 aside from its use as a Blu-ray player. Variety got word this morning that this fall a series of short films under the banner “Horror Directors Do Comedy” will show up on the console free of charge. The cool thing? As the title implies, they’re all horror/comedy shorts done by some of the bigger names in horror.
James Wan, James Gunn, Lucky McKee, Marcus Nispel, David Slade and Andrew Douglas all contributed to the lineup, which was co-created by Gunn along with producer/talent manager Peter Safran.
Titles include Wan’s “Doggie Heaven”, about a man who is sent to the wrong afterlife; James Gunn’s “Humanzee” (pictured), in which the director stars as a human/chimp hybrid; and David Slade’s “Meatdog”, an animated short about a dog made of cold cuts who has to go toe-to-toe with a church of occult pigs.
Sounds like it should be pretty fun, and if nothing else it’s free, so you can’t complain! We'll have more details as they arise, so stick around.

Imagine if you were traveling for a friend’s funeral, already a somber event to say the least, and you just happened to come across a fortune teller who not only identified you as evil, but fingered you as the bringer of the apocalypse.
