Horror Hits New York

An example of the madness of last year's show...We’ve made mention a time or two about the upcoming Comic Con taking place in New York City, which first came to light when Stephen King was announced to be making an appearance, but we’ve not really been following its goings-on as closely as we should.

Since King came onboard for a panel discussing the new Dark Tower comic (and most likely the news we reported here), Fox Atomic has joined the party as well, bringing Wes and Jonathan Craven in to discuss The Hills Have Eyes 2 and showcasing an exclusive clip from the film. The Con also just announced that Nicholas Brendan, Juliette Landau and other “Buffy” cast members will be on hand for a panel and autographs to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the ground-breaking show.

All this in addition to Mick Garris, Dennis Paoli, Stuart Gordon, Meat Loaf, John Landis, Jeffrey Combs and F. Paul Wilson for a panel on the past season of Masters of Horror and Eli Roth, Bijou Phillips, Heather Mattarazzo and Roger Bart appearing to chat up Hostel 2!

And those are just the horror-related events going down; there are tons of other things to see and do for every manner of geek! Click here to see the New York Comic Con official schedule, and look for exclusive coverage from the floor of the convention right here on Dread Central!
