Anchor Bay Dan Farrands Documentary His Name Was Jason Tweet By Johnny Butane November 19th, 2008 We’ve been talking about His Name Was Jason, the upcoming documentary about all things Voorhees, since the project was first announced so it's pretty cool to finally be able to point you to Amazon, where the 2-disc Splatter Edition is now up for pre-order; the DVD hits on February 3rd, 2009! Featuring interviews with almost everyone that had anything to do with the Friday the 13th series, as well as fans of the series (including our own Uncle Creepy!), this is going to be the ultimate love letter to a set of films that’s always had a special place in the heart of horror fans. The 2-disc edition will come loaded down with extras, but we’ve still not seen a definitive list of them yet. The doc is hosted by Tom Savini and has interviews with over 80 people, all discussing their love of a little boy who grew up to be a psychotic madman.
