Green and Lynch's Road to FrightFest

Green and Lynch -- The Douche BrothersAnyone who has seen Wrong Turn 2 or Hatchet is very familiar with the names Joe Lynch and Adam Green. Part of what makes these two young filmmakers so credible within the horror genre is that first and foremost they are fans. They live it. They breathe it. They're two of our own. When the two of them get together, good things happen. Good and pretty damned funny!

For this past FrightFest 2008, the duo filmed a series of short films that would run before each night's main film. And now the shorts are making their way online with a new one being released every Monday. All you have to do to see these flicks is head on over to the Ariescope website and hit "play". Higher-res files are on the way, but this should do for now!

Trust me. You so don't wanna miss this! And by the way ... it was so fucking Re-Animator.

That was great. Although I hate Green for getting a kissing scene with Danielle Harris.

I wonder if they flipped a coin to see who gets to do it.

Both Green and Lynch kick ass with horror and comedy.

Let's hope Lynch gets all of Green's future projects. I thought Wrong Turn 2 was infinitely better than the 1st film but that Hatchet was absolute dreck.

Couldn't agree more on Hatchet. What an awful pile of crap. It is beyond me that so many people like it.
