Glover joins Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Mia Wasikowska as Alice, the young girl who takes a trip down beyond the looking glass and finds herself in a twisted world full of odd creatures. The film will utilize live action and motion-capture performances to stand out from other adaptations. It’s surprising that this is the first time Glover and Burton have teamed up, but perhaps because they’re both so damn odd they’ll just cancel one another out?
