As we first told you about in our report from the Paranormal X dinner in Rhode Island, the Ghost Hunters are going international.
Sci Fi Channel officially announced the new show “Ghost Hunters International” today via the trades and, of course, Sci Fi Wire. The new show will find TAPS veterans Andy Andrews, Brian Harnois (pictured from the Dinner), Rob Demarest and Donna LaCroix as they investigate a new European city each week, tracking down and attempting to debunk ghost stories. Though I doubt it will be as easy in Europe as it is here.
The new show will debut on the Sci Fi Channel in January of 2008, meaning most of it has already probably been shot. Hopefully they can keep things interesting for both shows, but I have to tell you, despite the foreign locales, the premise seems to be stretching a bit thin right now. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
