Full Specs, Art for Tartan's 3-Disc Oldboy!

3-Disc Oldboy (click to see it bigger!)We just received the official word from Tartan about their November 14th release of the 3-disc Special Edition of Park Chan-Wook's Oldboy, including a much better look at the cover art that you’ve likely seen in a smaller form elsewhere.

Aside from the fantastic cover, which depicts one of the most memorable scenes in the film, the set will come with so many goodies you’ll wish you hadn’t spent the money on that expensive Korean import box set that doesn’t make any sense anyway cause you don’t speak the language. Here’s what we’ll be getting:

Disc One

  • Commentary by director Park Chan-Wook

  • Commentary by Chan-Wook and cinematographer Joeng-hun Jeong

  • Commentary by Chan-Wook and select cast members

    • Disc Two

  • Five behind-the-scenes featurettes

    • - Making the Film: The Cast Remembers (11mins)
    - Production Design (13 mins)
    - The Music Score (17 mins)
    - CGI Documentary (8 mins)
    - Flashback (23 mins)

  • Cast and crew interviews

  • Ten deleted scenes with optional commentary

  • Le Grand Prix at Cannes

    • Disc Three

  • The Autobiography of Oldboy, a video diary from all 69 shooting days of the film, which will come in at a total of 212 minutes!
