Headspace on DVD September 12th (click to see it bigger!)Personally, I don’t get this cover at all. Seriously, what the hell does this thing have to do with the movie? At least it’s a good sign that Headspace is finally coming to DVD on September 12th, courtesy of Freestyle Home Entertainment.

For those unaware, Headspace is a weird film about a guy whose intelligence suddenly starts growing at an alarming rate, allowing him to know things he should have no right knowing. As he gets even smarter, everyone he comes into contact with meets a bad end, and the line between fantasy and reality comes down to a razor sharpness. Check out my review of the film here for more.

The DVD is sufficiently stacked, set to include the featurettes “Fractured Skulls: The Making of Headspace” and “FX Journal”; one commentary track with director Andrew van den Houten and cinematographer William M Miller and another with composer Ryan Shore, editor Elwaldo Baptiste, and FX guy Jamie Kellman; deleted and extended scenes; an isolated music score; and more!

Click here to pre-order Headspace via Evilshop. I should add, for relevancy’s sake, that the film was made by the same team behind the Jack Ketchum adaptation of The Girl Next Door, which is currently in front of cameras.
