Full Details on Ultimate Evil Dead Disc

Ultimate Evil Dead DVD!At this point the question is not “do we need another edition of Evil Dead?” but rather, “why did it take Anchor Bay so long to put out another one?”

Fangoria got all the specs on the previously announced Evil Dead: Ultimate Editon DVD, which is due to hit shelves on December 18th, while STYD got the exclusive look at the disc’s box art which I have to admit is pretty damn cool.     how many fuckin years and how many versions of these movies are there and yet still not a single set comes with Within the Woods?

    it took me years to track down the short. yes it looks like shit quality wise and is a little bit amatuerish, but what collector is really going to care at this point? we dont need a dolby 5.1 stereo ass rape version to ooze digital goofjuice all over our eager faces in 1080p while giant dew back lizards roam the background among AT-ATs and Boba Fett escapes the Sarlacc pit. would it be nice? probably. but im sure most fans would be happy just to see the damn thing at this point.
