Full Circle Preps 3-D Mortician
This is just obnoxious; this morning Variety got word that Aria Films and First Circle Films are teaming with Axis 3D to produce a 3-D movie called The Mortician. Sounds intriguing based on the title alone, no?
Problem is the only description for it is this; The redemption tale in which kindness triumphs over cruelty falls within the urban noir, contemporary fairy tale and psychological thriller genres.Annoying, yes?
So we did some searching and came up with a little bit more, including the teaser art you see on your right. According to the film’s listing on Aria Films’ official site, The Mortician will be about The Mortician processes cadavers with an ice-cold disregard. A living corpse. Until the battered body of a young woman spreads warmth into his life.
Aw, a love story for the dead, how sweet. Gareth Maxwell (Faster Faster Kill Kill) Roberts wrote the script and will be directing the 3-D film, which is set to start rolling in early 2009. Keep it here for more very soon!
Hope a battered body will show you warmth someday in the Dread Central forums!
NEXT STORY
OK, I think we can all safely say that Rob Zombie's upcoming film Tyrannosaurus Rex is not the code name for The Nail movie, but it looks like the title may not be the final one at all. STYD has heard from those on the inside that Tyrannosaurus Rex may just be a temp title. Alright, whatever ... but what is the damn thing about?

They should cast the members of Bullet For My Valentine, My Chemical Romance, and Jared Leto in this. It'll make millions!
Of dollars!

Ah 3D, the last ditch effort of a shit movie. Otherwise, I'll stay open to the possibility that it's a good flick.
