From The Hitcher to The Seed

Neal McDonough may not have had the biggest role in 2007’s The Hitcher, but it looks like he will be making a bigger splash in yet another film from the ’80s.
McDonough won’t have to worry about college kids this time around in the Rock Shaink, Jr. directed remake of The Hidden, which has been renamed The Seed. Hmmm. Before everyone gets up in arms about another remake turning into an overblown music video with a dumbed down story, it should be known that Chris Morris over at Moviehole has mentioned that the plot is totally new for the most part.
See? Not every remake has a Platinum Dunes curse.
Them college kids couldn’t have killed everybody in the forums!
