Five Get to Bleeding

When a company called Indifferent Entertainment is making a film, is it wrong that it should bother me? I mean, it’s just a name ... right?

Nevertheless, Indifferent is behind the new horror/action hybrid The Bleeding, which Variety reports this morning has added Vinnie Jones (pictured), Michael Madsen, DMX, Armand Assante and Michael Matthias to its cast. 2 Days in the Valley director Charles Picerni is attached to helm.

The story is about a former Army Ranger on the hunt for the person who killed his parents. What he discovers instead, however, is a family of vampires living in a rundown chemical weapons factory that’s now a nightclub.

Man, remember when Madsen and Jones were reason enough to see a movie? Now the two of ‘em seem to phone in every role just so they can collect a paycheck. So maybe that Indifferent name does have meaning...
