Five Enter Insanitarium

Finally some movement has taken place on Jeff Buhler’s Insanitarium script, which we last told you about a few months back (“Exclusive: Buhler Talks Insanitarium” – May 2007). The writer of Midnight Meat Train will be making his directorial debut on the film, and today The Hollywood Reporter got the first bit of casting news from it.
Jess Metcalfe (“Desperate Housewives”), Peter Stormare (Constantine), Kiele Sanchez (pictured, “Lost”), Kevin Sussman (“Ugly Betty”) and Olivia Munn (Scarecrow Gone Wild) have all signed on to star in Insanitarium. Metcalfw will play a man who gets himself institutionalized to save his sister (Sanchez) from the hospital. Once inside it’s discovered that the doctor (Stormare) is givng his patients drugs that turns them into cannibals.
No word was mentioned on when the shoot will kick in but with that many names signed on, we can rest assured it will be very soon, indeed.
