First Word on Aussie Thriller Road Train
Today a nice long, chunky synopsis appeared online for a new Aussie horror movie in the works called Road Train. Personally it’s the first I’ve heard of it, but from the sounds of it we could be in for an interesting treat.
The producers behind the killer croc flick Black Water are behind Road Train, which is about a group of friends whose 4x4 is destroyed when they’re run off the road by the titular vehicle, a massive, three-trailer truck. When they get to the big bastard, they find it driverless and decide to use it as a means to get to the next town, but they’ll never make it. What they find in the truck’s attached trailers will make sure their weekend is well and truly ruined.
Written by Clint Hopkins and set to be helmed by Dean Francis, Road Train will be in front of cameras this coming February. Look for more news on the project as it develops; you should check out Prodigy Movies' site for a full plot breakdown while you wait.
