First Death Proof DVD News!

Not a big slice of news, but Davis DVD, who tend to be more reliable than not, learned the Genius Entertainment have plans to release Quentin Tarrantino’s half of Grindhouse (review) this fall.

Death Proof is apparently slated for a September 18th release date, though no features or anything else have been mentioned. I’m sure it’ll be a well-loaded DVD with (hopefully) at least half the faux trailers that played before and between the movie in theaters.

The other half of them, of course, should be saved for the DVD release of Planet Terror, which has no date to speak of yet. The films are being release separately and months apart from one another overseas, so I guess a gap over here only makes sense. Stay tuned for more details as we learn ‘em!
