Finally, a Date for McLean's Rogue
Well it’s about damn time. Fangoria got word today that the Weinsteins have finally set a release date for Greg McLean’s killer croc opus, Rogue, but you won’t be happy with its theater count…
The mag learned that the Weinsteins’ Third Rail Releasing will put Rogue in theaters that are in the “top 10 markets” on April 25th, 2008. How’s that for short notice?
Can I just say how sick it is that something like the Prom Night remake gets a huge theatrical release, but something original and, from early reports, pretty damn good gets the shaft? And yes, I do understand the fundamental differences between the films, but that doesn’t make it any easier to swallow.

Following up on the news we shared with you yesterday, those undead freaks over at Zombie Friends got the first look at both the Diary of the Dead and Night of the Living Dead: 40th Anniversary Edition this morning. No, it’s not a joke; the NotLD cover really is that dull.
