Anthology Darren Bousman Fear Itself Greg Nicotero NBC Tweet By Johnny Butane November 21st, 2007 In an article just posted over on Fangoria chatting with KNB effects man and all around cool guy Greg Nicotero, details on one of the thirteen Fear Itself episodes were casually dropped. The NBC-based, retitled third Masters of Horror season got most of its scripts in before the writers' strike, Nicotero confirmed, one of which is a story called "New Year's Day" from 30 Days of Night creator Steve Niles. The story is a rewrite of Fango scribe Paul Kane's "Dead Time", the story of a woman dealing the effects of a hard night of New Year’s Eve partying that seems to have ushered in a zombie apocalypse.
