Another zombie comic book headed for the big screen and it’s not Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead? That’s not right. Although this Last Blood title does sound pretty cool...
THR reports today that “Family Guy” showrunner/executive producer David A. Goodman has been tasked with bringing Blatant Comics’ Last Blood to the big screen for Benderspink Productions.
The storyline follows a group of humans who survive a zombie holocaust but only do so because a group of vampires have to keep them alive for their blood. I like the idea a lot, it’s kind of one of those “Oh, duh” ideas I wish I had come up with.
Goodman seems like an odd choice for the job, I have to admit, but hopefully his work on “Family Guy” has imbued him with a sense of humor that will be beneficial to what sounds like it could be a very grim film.
